Mâine mă duc - Tomorrow I leave - Maria, 40, is a 24/7 home caregiver. Every four weeks, Maria leaves her Romanian village and embarks on a journey of over 1000 kilometers to care for an elderly person in Austria. With empathetic objectivity, Maria Lisa Pichler and Lukas Schöffel portray this woman in a state of permanent conflict: that between the desire to provide for her family and the sacrifice she must make to practice this profession. It soon becomes clear that everyone who fills a void in one place creates another elsewhere.
