ctrl LIVE: AMPHITRIO (RO) & Blue Noise (RO)

After a summer filled with concerts across the country and abroad, Amphitrio returns to Club Control with freshly pressed vinyls and special guests Blue Noise.

Together, they’ll premiere the result of a creative session at Alter Acoustic in Viscri – a unique collaboration that brings new sounds and fresh perspectives to the stage.

AMPHITRIO is a contemporary jazz project based in Bucharest, Romania, initiated in 2020, featuring pianist and composer Andrei Petrache, bassist Mike Alex and percussionist Philip Goron, all of them having a solid background in classical and alternative music.

This year they received the Annual Music Prize for the TIMELINES album - awarded by Romanian Cultural Radio (2025) and the Excellence Prize - Jazz Group Category - awarded by UCIMR (2025) .

BLUE NOISE 

is the story of opposites coming together to create an original musical language.
Nicole Cryss (soprano), Ana Dubyk (mezzo-soprano), Maria Enache (alto), Mihail Grigore (tenor), and Bogdan Tudor (bass) experiment, explore, and play with the surprising possibilities of the human voice in an a cappella jazz concert.

What makes the project unique is not simply its stylistic range, but the vast ocean of possibilities the voice can explore. Effects, harmonies, textures, and countless timbral colors emerge from five voices that resonate as one—building and dissolving, transmitting emotion, and shaping an intricate sonic architecture. This collective vibration creates a direct, intimate sensory experience for every listener.
