Missed them last time? You’re getting a second chance - actually, two. Lebanon Hanover return to Control on March 18 & 19, 2026, after their memorable 2022 sellout.

Driven by the urge to resurrect the sombre side of the 80s, the goth duo forged their sound through deadpan vocals and synth-drenched sorrow, becoming one of the defining acts of contemporary darkwave.

Lebanon Hanover is an ice cold reply to the alienated world coming from two warm beating hearts. Larissa Iceglass and William Maybelline appear as true romantics of the modern age, admiring William Wordsworth, fascinated by the beauty of art nouveau aesthetics, exploring British seashores and forests at night, whilst being inspired by the urbanism of Berlin.

Heavy hearts in dark lights - and this time, they bring their newest release, Asylum Lullabies, unveiled this summer.

Lebanon Hanover - Gallowdance

Opening both nights, Jim E. Brown is “equally hilarious and horrifying, sobering and intoxicating”.

Poet and Artist/Activist Jim E. Brown was born in Manchester on September 10, 2001, just one day before the 9/11. Self described as an alcoholic with several degenerative conditions & also obese, pop superstar’s lyrics are quirky, to say the least.

He's the "chimera of all the least palatable parts of the Mancunian music canon," specifically blending the self-flagellation of Morrissey with the chaotic, dark energy of The Fall's Mark E. Smith.
